Welcome to the Zenith Chain newsletter, a place for people who are interested in blockchain engineering, smart contract development, and the web 3.0.
In today’s newsletter, I share my top rated and favorite resources for both blockchain and cryptocurrency investing and education.

One thing that I like to pride myself on is my keen ability to cut out the signal from the noise, and in the cryptocurrency world, there is so much noise. There is a popular saying that goes: “One week in crypto is one year in any other industry”, and I couldn’t agree more. Quite honestly, keeping up with the extremely rapid pace of development and innovation in this industry is almost a full time job.
All that noise can be extremely distracting for newcomers and can either lead to poor decision making, or making FOMO (fear of missing out) decisions or trades that almost never end well. On the educational side, it’s not always easy to find the right resources, or to even know where to start.
Fortunately, I’ve done robust research on both the investing and educational fronts, and I like to think that I’ve dialed in on the resources that provide high signal and little to no noise. Continue reading below for my top rated resources on both blockchain/cryptocurrency investing and education.
Although I’m not a huge social media guy, one of my favorite strategies for finding high signal people that know what they are talking about is Twitter. I have a dedicated Twitter account for purely blockchain and cryptocurrency information where I follow some of the bigger names in the space who aren’t so much about providing click-baity titles, but high value information. There are too many to list, but here are a few of my favorites:
The_Crypto_Oracle
Youtube
The other resource that I leverage quite heavily is Youtube. Since starting my cryptocurrency investing journey in 2017, I’ve followed probably over 20 different channels and consumed hundreds of hours of content. These Youtube channels are the ones that have provided consistently high value information every time.
Chico Crypto - An interesting character for sure, but Chico Crypto, in my opinion, is hands down the greatest cryptocurrency journalist on the internet. Chico’s daily videos provide educational and investment advice that are both highly relevant and highly valuable, and his ability to dig deep and put the pieces of the puzzle together is unmatched.
Finematics - This Youtube channel is for educational purposes only, but provides extremely valuable insights on smart contract and blockchain technologies.
Benjamin Cowen - Benjamin’s Youtube channel, Into the Cryptoverse, has exploded in subscribers within the last months because his analysis of not only individual investments but of the greater market macro trends has been spot on.
Dapp University - Dapp University is a smart contract development Youtube channel that I have utilized quite consistently over the last year when learning how to code smart contracts. He also has his own website with a significant amount of free content on coding up decentralized applications.
Eat the Blocks - Another highly talented smart contract developer that consistently puts out new content on blockchain technologies and smart contract development.
Chainlink - If you aren’t following Chainlink and what they are doing, you are wrong. Chainlink’s ecosystem is massive and practically growing at an exponential rate day by day, with nearly 500 integrations ranging from smaller blockchain companies to big names like Google and Oracle. They also provide fantastic educational blogs on smart contract technologies, and of course, on Chainlink itself. Also check out Alpha Chain’s up and coming YouTube channel.
Bankless - These guys provide consistently high value information and often interview some of the biggest names in the space such as Vitalik Buterin. They also have a fantastic website with some of the greatest educational and investment articles that I’ve ever come across.
Other resources:
This “other” category mostly consists of documentational websites that I’ve leveraged quite a bit. There are many, but here are my favorites:
Chainlink Docs - Excellent information here for both Chainlink node operators and smart contract developers. These docs provide information on how to run your own Chainlink node if you desired, along with information on how to leverage Chainlink in your smart contracts.
Ethereum.org - This is a great all around resource for learning about Ethereum.
Ethereum docs - Of course, I would be remiss not to mention Ethereum’s robust documentation on Ethereum itself, smart contract technologies, and the surrounding web 3.0 ecosystem.
ChainlinkToday - A brand new news website dedicated to all things Chainlink.
